January 2022 COVID 19 Update

 

Following the most recent Scottish Government guidance, we have been reviewing how this will affect our staff and tenants. Most of our staff are now working from home as per the guidance however they remain available to deliver services and to support and assist you.

 For all enquiries please continue to contact the office by phone on 01389 877924 or email enquiry@faifleyha.co.uk. Our staff are available to help with enquiries about your tenancy, repairs or your rent account and wherever possible these will be delivered by remote means, home visits will only be arranged if these are essential. We will continue to deliver a repairs service however this has been impacted by the recent Government announcement. Some of the changes you may experience are:

  • Our contractors will only undertake emergency repairs whilst you or a family member have tested positive for COVID or you or a family member are self-isolating as a potential contact of a person who has tested positive. Any follow up work will be carried out after your self isolation period has ended.
  • You will be asked to confirm your COVID status when arranging a repair and prior to the repair visit taking place.
  • The contractor will be able to complete any urgent or routine repairs after the period of isolation has ended.
  • When contractors are on site tenants must ensure that social distancing is maintained and the area for repair is cleaned and well ventilated.
  • Contractors will wear face coverings and PPE and tenants are also requested to wear face coverings whilst contractors are engaging with them in their home.

Faifley is very much aware that the ongoing COVID pandemic and associated Government measures to manage infection control continues to have an impact on our tenants and on the services you receive. We remain grateful for your patience and understanding, and we will continue to ensure that we will do all that we can to help to maintain the health and safety of everyone.

The tenant ballot on the proposal to transfer Faifley Housing Association to Caledonia Housing Association closes on 7 February 2022, and we still have lots of tenants who have not cast their vote. Please help us deliver this for you by casting your vote now. Staff from Faifley and Caledonia will be visiting you to help you vote.

10 Jan Ballot now open The Ballot on the proposed Transfer of Faifley HA to Caledonia HA is now open and you should have received your voting pack directly from CES. The Ballot will run until Monday 7 February.
06 Jan Pre Ballot Notice A Pre Ballot Notice has now been sent out to all tenants following completion of the consultation stage of the transfer process. The notice provides information on the transfer proposals and also includes responses to the ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ you raised with us during the consultation period.
22 Dec Festive Office Closure and Emergency Repair Arrangements Our office will be closed from 1pm on Friday 24 December 2021 until Thursday 6 January 2022 at 9.30am. Staff will be available Thursday 30 and Friday 31 December 2021 between 9.30am and 12 noon on the office phone number – 01389 877924 for tenancy related emergencies and rent payments. Alternatively, you can email us on enquiry@faifleyha.co.uk and we will respond once the office reopens on 6 January 2022.

OUR OFFICE IS NOW CLOSED FOR THE FORSEEABLE FUTURE IN LINE WITH GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES.
